My 5 week old is awake for nearly 5 hours in the evening, part of this is witching hour but the fact she's awake for so long is insane
Has anyone figured out how to get baby to sleep when they're overtired? She's not overstimulated in the way of lights, noise etc in the evening compared to the day but this is killing me being awake for so long
She's breastfed as well so I'm always on standby for her request to be fed

I had this too. I would have to pop a dummy in her mouth, hold her horizontally pushed against my chest and rock her side to side for 30 minutes. It was either that or pop my boob in her mouth for 2 hours if nt more š¤£
@Beverley oh god it's so painful isn't it
She cries and her hunger and wet nappy cue are the same so we go around in circles!
She likes the stairs which is great exercise for me but the enthusiasm for it drops off after a while
I just want to sleep! šš¤¦āāļø

The white noise deep sleep app on my phone and play womb sounds next to him š sends him to sleep in minutes š¤£xx

We're in the same boat ! I had this and she was basically attached to me for 6 hours before sleeping at 9am. Wish I had a tip to share but we ended up just riding it out. Hoping this phase isn't for too long. It could be that they are going through a growth spurt or a leap so are more unsettled than usual
