Yep! Got it through last week, they've given me a 3 hour window at 32 weeks. Luckily we're already in full nesting mode so the house hopefully won't be a tip 😂
Same I’ll be around same weeks when they visit .Do u know what this visit is for , I always thought visits happen after baby is born

Is it just me that isn't comfortable with the whole home visit parts?
We have nothing to hide obviously, and the house only needs a few things doing. But I don't know, I understand some people would rather have someone come to them than having to go out, but it's just my safe space I guess.

Yes they bring your Red book as well :)

Girls don’t scare me!!! I’m nearky 31 weeks and not received a letter and my house is currently in uproar with renovations 😩😩😩

They just check in on you, make sure you’re getting ready, and your home is almost ready (some ask to see a nursery or where baby sleeps but some don’t even mention it)
You can ask them for advice, they’ll give you advice on birth / after birth and a few leaflets for support!
true same it’s just like for me everything is everywhere right now boxes to be unpacked 🥲
ohh thank u ☺️

I’m on my 4th pregnancy and I’ve never had this before. Maybe it’s different depending on area ?
I don’t feel it’s necessary personally. What could you possibly need / talk about for 3 hours lol

I received a letter as well...coming in 32 weeks....also don't know what to expect

you can decline the visits hun if you’re not comfortable with it. Seeing the health visitor isn’t mandatory x

ah sorry, should clarify - the visit is only 45 mins, they've just given a 3 hour window of when it could be 🙂

I had a visit the other day at 30 weeks, it was absolutely fine. I think they expect that not going to be fully sorted yet and don't expect to come and see everyone's house is perfect. They get to know you a bit and a bit about background so can prepare of any additional support might be needed etc. And go through a few other things which I would say is important if your a first time parent.
Personally I see them as a good thing x
thank you this is very beneficial
