I’m 19 weeks with identical twins that are in their own sacks & placentas.
A = 5th percentile and has a one artery umbilical cord (instead of 2)
B = 93rd percentile
Baby A has been 1-2 weeks behind since the beginning. Docs were surprised A has made it. We’re doing genetic testing and awaiting the results.
Has anyone had this happen with identical twins that aren’t in the same placenta/sack? If so, I’d appreciate if you had any insight on the outcomes. We’re worried something might be wrong with A.
Thank you 🙏🙏

Be careful with genetic testing. Some of the testing can cause still born or miscarriages

she could have had the more up to date/non invasive genetic testing. Mine was done by a simple blood draw like normal labs from my arms.

I did blood draw and amniocentesis. I did have the 1 in 500 chance of leaking but the hole resealed.

I’m almost 34 weeks with boy/girl twins in separate sacs and our girl has been much smaller since the beginning. She is about 3 weeks behind and we also did amniocentesis which thankfully came back with the clear.
They determined that it’s a placenta issue not a baby issue, which they’ve said is predictable to manage and we have been doing weekly scans to stay on top of it since the start of the second trimester.
Feel free to dm me if you have any questions at all, it was such a stressful time in the second trimester 🫶

Be careful with Omnicenesis it doesn't do very well with some pregnancies

I had di/di boys this past November. One of my boys had a two vessel cord but my genetic screening from my blood test came back normal so the doctor wasn’t too worried and didn’t want me to do the second screening he said he didn’t think i needed it. He said he might be the smaller twin which wasn’t the case in the end he ended up being the bigger twin by 2 ounces.
