How to quit nicotine while pregnant 😩

I’m 5 weeks pregnant, just found out. I’ve went from 6mg to 3mg Zyns and it’s soooo hard for me to quit 100% 😩 Any tips on how to break the habit quicker?

I used to vape and smoke cigarettes not zyn but I quit cold turkey. It was AWFUL but I suffered through it for a few weeks and then it was bare-able.

I did that too during my first but I wasn’t using for very long so it seemed easier. This time I’m wondering how can I stop without going coo koo bananas on my family 😅

Yeah that’s hard. I smoked cigarettes and vaped for 4yrs before quitting cold turkey during my first pregnancy so I get that it’s hard! I also didn’t have any other kids to take care of at the time tho so it was easier in that regard. My second pregnancy I foolishly had started vaping again right before getting pregnant but I quit that cold turkey too and it wasn’t nearly as bad the second time. I refuse to ever vape or smoke again at this point ! Hopefully u get there too

Looks like there’s something called quit assist that has an app to help you quit. You could try something like that too

There’s little necklaces that people get to help them quit vaping/smoking
Cause you do the motion of smoking but you’re just blowing into the necklace
If you quit cold turkey right now it’ll be hard asf considering you’ll feel more nauseated and whatnot since you’re in the first trimester but I promise it’s worth it

Yeah I’m at a point where I’m gonna quit nicotine too for good! I’ve been sober from alcohol for 6 months and nicotine was my backup pretty much. So hard to quit everything at once! Im glad you’re there! If you’re there, I can be there too!

I’ve seen those before! My thing however is that I don’t inhale anything since Ive stopped a couple years ago. Zyns are just nicotine pouches that absorb through your gums. So maybe I can try regular minty gum to somehow get the same effect 😅

Try the quitsure app. I was a smoker for 14yrs and quit in 6 days with that app , no withdrawals or cravings at all. I haven't smoked in months and don't even miss it

Midwifes prefer you to vape than smoke anyway love if you need that nicotine release

Look into where materials for your vapes battery are mined. 🇨🇩

I was 100% in your shoes 2 years ago!! I also was using zyn 6mg pouches; but when I found out I was pregnant, I started using nicotine/tobacco free pouches along with sunflower seeds, gum, Jolly ranchers/hard candies etc. Pretty much anything I could "pouch" in my lip, I tried!
My favorite was "Oregon mint snuff" pouches, which I had to order online.
Two brands I could find locally that were tolerable, were "Grinds", and "Smokey Mountain" (although Grinds does have caffeine).
I was never able to find the 'Teaza' ones near me... but I would have tried them if I could have!
Good luck!!

I’ve never heard of those pouches you got online! Do they have nicotine in them or just caffeine?

Those Oregon Mint ones were 😛😍!!
No nicotine or tobacco in any of the 4 I listed. I did ALOT of research and testing, lol.
The 'Grinds' and 'Teaza' do have caffeine in them. The 'Oregon Mint' and 'Smokey Mountain' are herb/sugar based, no caffeine.

(I also never have smoked/vaped... only ever chewed. So my advice to just use something else as a pouch/filler may not be all that helpful, lol)
