Aldi Protein Pouches?

A friend of mine said his wife was consuming Aldi Brooklea Protein 25 Pouches religiously when pregnant with their third baby..... Does anyone else swear by these or know they're safe for first trimester?

Always go by the NHS website on what is unsafe to eat during pregnancy

You don't need to consume bucket loads of protein during pregnancy... just make sure you're taking pregnancy vitamins, particularly vit d and folic acid 😊

I would find out what she is 'swearing by' them for. They are perfectly healthy for you to eat and if you lack in eating protein are an easy way to get that up! Maybe she swore by them to prevent a symptom?
I love them and have them all the time and won't stop now I'm pregnant!!

I've just checked the ingredients and the first is soft cheese so I'm going to steer clear and choose soya yoghurt instead.
Thanks for your advice ladies!
