So my little girl is 9 months having 3 meals a day was having 4 bottles, the health visitor told me to drop a feed, just wondering what time of the day did everyone drop their feed? She’s suggested to drop the morning feed and just give breakfast.. but I see a lot of people dropping an afternoon feed instead, does it just depend on what works for you?..

My little one is still in between 3-4 bottles. I found it easier to drop the feed in the middle of the day rather than morning or evening

My girl used to have bottle at 7,11,3,7 and we dropped the 11am feed xx

My little girl is naturally dropping one bottle, her 4pm is reducing down to just a few ounce. I’m just following her lead on it

My HV told me the same for our 8 month old. We had 4 bottles a day + breakfast, lunch and snack, and dropped to 2 bottles a day, sometimes 1 in the afternoon if I felt she was hungry. Now we do
7am BF
8am bottle
9:30 cereal
11am BF
12pm lunch
3pm BF
5pm bottle or snack
8pm big bottle
Works for us and she sleeps 8:30pm - 6:30am every day more or less

I'm going through this at the moment. My little girl was having 4x 8oz bottles but suddenly started refusing her bottles half way through and seems to be barely drinking anything in comparison to what she used to. I''ve tried dropping a bottle today and increasing her food but will persevere over the next few days to try and figure out a new schedule which suits her. Feels like a guessing game! X

it’s so hard isn’t it, my little girl is eating meals but little of each so I’m questioning wether she’s having enough milk then.. definitely a guessing game x
