I feel so big because I’ve always been a slim lass and then I’ve recently seen pics on here with you fellow mummas who are at the same stage but your bumps are growing so fast! Would I know by now if my baby was going to be premature?

Okay that’s gave me a bit of a relief, so just need to hope everything is fine by the 28 weeks scan before there’s any concerns 😂🙏🏽 it’s just strange because I don’t feel pregnant pregnant? It just feels like I’ve gained a stone in weight and for that feel bloated 😂 but thank you for taking the time to comment that for reassurance!

What makes you think baby would be premature? Have there been any concerns from your scans? If not then I'd assume baby is fine!
In first pregnancies many women don't get a bump for a long while. It was 25+ weeks for me. A small bump isn't linked to baby coming early or late. It's just how you carry!

I think my mum instincts are just kicking in and being an over worrier😂 there’s been nothing mentioned but as the lovely sibs said above, I shouldn’t compare bumps so that was my downfall! I feel more at ease 😇

I was about 28w when I even started showing then it was massive from then on x

At 39 weeks I still had a very small bump compared to a lot of other mums. My whole pregnancy all I heard was how small I was but aways measured perfectly.
When my son was born the midwife’s couldn’t believe how big he was and kept making jokes that they didn’t know where I was hiding him.

so we basically have a Tardis inside us hiding the little beans😂 definitely feel better about everything!

I haven’t been told about anterior placenta, and I can definitely feel the little one kicking 🥹 so I’ll just take it I carry small and there’s no issues! X

Your baby will probably be just fine sometimes women only pop right at the end sometimes like me lol they're big at 12 weeks I was huge last time around still only had a seven pound baby so it's not always bump size that'll tell you not everyone's uterus is tilted the same either and that makes a difference

No, small bumps have nothing to do with baby being prem. And try not to compare, because if you have a habit of comparing yourself to others now, you’ll be comparing your babies to other babies and that’s not a very satisfying way to live, you’ll never be happy hun. Enjoy your bump 🙃

My daughter is 2 now but I was small during my pregnancy too! She was born 7lbs x

There’s no way to know if baby will be premature. You are small but that doesn’t really mean something negative. Genetics probably has a lot to do with it. Baby might be on the small side when it’s born. But if both of you are healthy that’s all that matters.

I was like that with my first, had such a small bump no one realized I was pregnant until gone 35 weeks! He was born a perfect 7lb 2oz.

Don’t compare. My baby boy is 12 weeks today. I walked into the induction ward and was asked if I was visiting someone😂. Then emergency section later I was then again asked if I was the correct person😀😂

I didn't show till 27 weeks it was around 32 weeks I truly started to have a bump don't be discouraged ♥️

I was referred for extra scans during my pregnancy because my bump was so small. Baby girl was completely fine and came out at 9 pounds 1/4.1kg and needed to be induced because she did not want to come out haha. Some people just carry small, especially if it’s your first pregnancy, so I would try not to compare

I get what you’re saying but it was more from a health basis, definitely not going to be comparing my baby to any other baby 😂 I am enjoying my bump, I like that it’s not causing me issues right now

oh bless! That’s a nice healthy weight as well, smaller side of it but yeah no complications which is great news! X

oh that’s such great news! Proper nice little weight 🥰 x

I was in hospital with asthma issues at 38 weeks pregnant and they asked me if there was any chance I could be pregnant the look on their face when they found out how far along I was was priceless 😂 son came the following week happy and healthy so 100% don't worry about it I put on 1st 2oz my entire pregnancy and then went straight back to normal jeans etc day after son was born he's now a wild 19 month old who does not stop 😂
