How are people feeling?!

When in March is everyone due and how are you feeling about it? Anything you’re particularly nervous about? I’m due 1st March and it feels like these last 8 weeks are going to drag so bad! I’m actually really excited to give birth and most nervous about the lack of sleep 🤣

Due march 4th although he's very big so my only worry is that they might induce me or book me for a csection!
Much like you, I'm excited to give birth and have baby here! If it helps, multiple people have told me these last few weeks go by so quick!xx

Not due until the end of March but already starting to worry about what’s left to buy! I’m 29 weeks and starting antenatal classes next week which I’m excited about because I feel pretty clueless - it’s my first! 💙

I'm also due 1st March! This is my 2nd pregnancy and my 3yo has just started nursery this week so all the emotions over here! But it has freed up my mornings when I'm off work to get organised!! Once the Christmas Dec's are away tomorrow I feel like I'll be able to properly get sorted
Also really paranoid this time round that baby will make a very early appearance, not sure why!
Very excited to see my little boy with his baby brother but also nervous for the change and extra guilt! 😬

Not due until til the end of March and it feels like a life time away 🤣

I’m due 1st March too and I’m getting anxious about all of the washing I need to do 😂 I’m finishing work on 16th Jan so I’ve got so much time but I think it’s the unknown! Silly things like what if I haven’t washed my bedsheets when the baby comes home, I’d love to have clean sheets 😂🫣 the irrational fears have hit!

Due the 10th, feeling excited but mostly terrified ATM after suffering birth trauma 5.5 years ago.

Don't worry about the lack of sleep, from my experience the sleep deprivation dealing with a newborn has nothing on that pregnancy exhaustion!

14th march, scared even though it’s my second

Avatar

I think it's 100x worse when it's your second isn't it as you know what's coming! Ignorance is bliss the first time round haha x

omg this is such a mood 😂😂😂 I’m working right up to my due date and taking holiday for the final week so last working day is 23rd feb and I already regret this decision lol! Just want to chill out and get ready now!

Avatar

oh no! Sorry to hear your scared, what is it you’re scared of? X

Avatar

i unfortunately had pp psychosis so that does scare me

I can't remember with my first how I felt about this time, but this time I'm much more "what will be will be", you're in so little control of timing that I'm just letting all my pre birth anxieties I know I had slip past, as none of it mattered the moment I was in labour and everything can be done when baby is born! (I am talking from a position of having a supportive partner who could do it)

I’m due 12th March and this is our first baby and I feel like we’re soo behind on everything, we’re renovating a house and only just got radiators working and there is so much to do to get the house ready(sh) let alone things we need to sort for baby 🙈but at the same time I’m so excited to meet baby boy and want time to fly by haha 🥰

I am due 14th March and now realising how unorganised I feel. This weekend I am going to try make lists of things I need just in case baby boy is early. Also worrying about how much I have left to do at work pre maternity …. Keep telling myself it won’t be a me problem after I leave but I am trying to be as organised as I can there… we will see how it all turns out! 😂

I have NCT classes starting next week I am hoping that will help me feel more prepared as it’s my first.

One thing I am really unsure about is what pram and car seat to get. I was looking at the 360 seats. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Avatar

I'm due the end of March, 27th of March and don't have anything for the baby yet 😅 but going to pick up a cot today. NCT classes only start on the 28th of February because they were all booked up... let's hope the baby isn't early!! X

Avatar

16th but will be going in a week early to be induced. Due to age and i have massive babies. Its going to be my seventh time and im scared witless.

Avatar

the 360 isnt much use tbh, always always go with an infant carrier first. The seats that say birth to 18kg etc really don't get a safe fit for baby until at least 6months old, usually closer to 8-10months. My suggestion would always be to max out an infant carrier and then go for a Swedish plus tested extended rearfacing seat. We are going for the avionaut pixel pro 2.0 and then once he outgrows that he will go into the axkid minikid or axkid ONE2 depending what car he's is. My son is still rearfacing in his minikid at nearly 6yrs old x

I'm due 10th March, although been told by the consultant today they won't let me go past 39 weeks but it could be earlier and if I develop pre eclampsia then may be before 37 weeks.
I've been unwell this week so although I only have 6 weeks left at work I am struggling quite a bit. Hoping after a restful weekend, I'll find things a bit easier.
I am so excited to meet our little one and find out who has been kicking me and trying to escape out the side of my tummy!
I think I need to get my hospital bag sorted now after today's appointment, although he only brought the date forward by a week it seems it won't be long now!

Avatar

I’m due on the 3rd of march too, this is my third pregnancy, 8weeks left to go and it feel so long!

Avatar

I’m also due 1st March! But baby is breech and I’ve decided to elect for a c-section so I guess I’ll be February now!

I’m so ready for her to be here now! I can’t wait to sleep on my stomach and not have heartburn and sore hips! 😂😂

Avatar

I'm also due 4th March and been told the same thing!. I'm still very excited and can't wait to meet Little One

Avatar

Due 6th March! Very excited but so nervous for birth and the unknown!! Good luck to everyone ❤️

Avatar

ahhh, nice to know someone is going through something very similar! have you thought much about what you'd prefer induction/csection if it comes to it?

Avatar

I haven't given it much thought to be honest, I'm kinda going with whatever is going to be best for baby.

Avatar

I love that, I hope you get a really lovely birth xx

Avatar

10th March I’m due and I’m nervous as my son is 13 months old 🤣scared I’m not gonna be able to cope especially when my partner is working 😭also kinda traumatised by my last birth so nervous about that x

Avatar

@India that's so sweet and I wish the same for you x x x

Avatar

Due 20th March, but initially was meant to be 14th, ive put a deposit down for pram and carseat, only got a few newborn bits so still need crib/cot and hospital bag stuff

Avatar

I’m due March 1st also with my second I have a 9 month old and god dam I’m so exhausted all I want to do is nap and it isn’t possible. I can’t believe how quickly it’s gone to my 1st pregnancy I guess it’s what I get for wishing it wouldn’t go to quickly, I don’t feel prepared at all 😅😅

Avatar

very similar 2nd pregnancy due 5th March, little one will be three in Feb and goes to nursery.

I’m having a planned c-section so looking at a mid to end feb arrival - all I keep thinking is this baby is going to come really early! Especially chasing around after a toddler!

Yep mixed emotions don’t want to leave my little one to go into hospital but also can’t wait for him to take on the big brother role!

Avatar

exactly the same! I had a growth scan on Tue (31 weeks) baby girl is weighing in at 4lb1oz which I thought sounded huge 😂 but they are now growing half lb per week so that puts her on track to be 8lb baby at full term.

I think baby girl will be here w/c 19th Feb but no date for c-section yet. They said my little boy would be big then he came out at 6lb6oz at 38+4!
