Just wondering how everyone gets over first trimester anxiety before we can get scans? Me and my partner have been trying for over 2 years to conceive as he’s some fertility issues. This pregnancy came as such a (lovely) shock to us as we genuinely never expected to see those two lines on a test! I’m now living every single second of every day worried that something bad is going to happen to our miracle baby. I think it’s worse when i’m not feeling any symptoms too - which i’ve read is completely normal, but i’d rather have symptoms than not🙂

Congratulations! I haven’t really got symptoms either and I’m sooo anxious, my Google search history is wild 😂 but other people have said this is normal in the beginning so trying to trust the process 🤞🏻
thankyou! Congratulations to you too🤍 my search history is the same! i should probably stop googling everything tbh ahah x

How many weeks are you? I think I’m coming up to week 5 but it’s still so early isn’t it, trying to relax because I’m sure the symptoms will come and I’ll hate it 😆
i should be 5+2 now going off the first day of my last period, but my periods tend to be around 33 days so i might actually be just short of 5 weeks! it’s so worrying isn’t it! hoping for a healthy pregnancy and baby for you!🥰

Thank you so much, sending all the positive vibes to you too! It’s so reassuring being able to talk to people on this app! 🤞🏻💫
thankyou! it is isn’t it🥰 it’s been my most used app since I found out! It’s so nice seeing other mums go through the same thing at the same time🙈

Definitely! Feel free to message me any time, would be nice to hear how you get on with symptoms as we’re almost the same weeks! 😊

I just found out yesterday I am pregnant! After a bit over a year and a half of trying and I'm exactly the same, I've no idea what to do with myself!
I think I am 4+6 so five weeks tomorrow!
just try not to turn to google🙈 i’m googling absolutely everything and i think that’s making it worse! Congratulations🤍

Hey! I am incredibly similar to this except it's me with the fertility issues not my husband. I do have symptoms and actually was concerned about them and spoke to a GP, which was incredibly reassuring. But we booked an early viability scan for when I will be 7 weeks and I'm hoping that will be the real peace of mind. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow so only 2 weeks to wait! We paid for it but hopefully it'll help a lot. Congratulations!
congratulations!🧸 we’ve booked an early scan too except ours is 8 weeks, I’m wishing we’d booked it a little earlier now though! I hope everything goes well🥰

I'm debating an early scan and don't know whether to go 7 or 8 weeks! I know if I can hold out to 8 it will be more worthy seeing but I don't know if I can wait that long!!!!

The anxiety is so hard isn’t it. I was ok for the first few days after finding out (I think just with all the distraction over new year) but now I’m back in a sort of routine I’m finding it much harder. I had an early loss in my first pregnancy and also have a 14 month old son. Going to book a scan at the end of the month but it seems such a long wait 😩
I’m the same now! I booked it for 8 weeks the day i found out i was pregnant not realising how anxious i’d end up being😩 I can’t change it now unfortunately due to work!
The anxiety is absolutely awful, it’s on my mind 24/7 and i’ve taken 9 tests since I found out on Monday🫠 Once I know baby has a heartbeat I think i’ll be okay (i’d like to hope so anyway) Congratulations mama🤍

I don’t 😂 I’m a midwife so know all the worst case scenarios 🙈

Yeah I think it'll be worth the wait and you'll get more of a look in. Less time to wait until your NHS one too!!
I lost at 6 weeks last time and so I'm getting myself to that point before I do anything. I think I'll go 8 weeks otherwise I'll wanna tell everyone haha
so sorry for your loss🤍 you’re right about the less of a wait until the NHS one though! like you say, at least i’ll be able to see a lot more than I would at 7 weeks🥰 congratulations by the way x

Congratulations to you too! Hope it goes well xx

I had an early scan at 6+5 once and they couldn’t see much and it was actually more stressful having to wait. I would always recommend waiting till closer to 8 weeks if you can.
