OBGYN

Does anyone have a good OBGYN recommendation? I went through my pregnancy and I felt like they didn’t care for me. I saw a different person every time I went in for a check up. I had high blood pressure and gain A LOT of weight (mora than 65lbs) NOT EVEN ONCE they mentioned I had high blood pressure or that the weight was a concern. I felt constantly ignored and treated like I wasn’t human. I couldn’t keep working anymore I was so tired and they said i was fine and wouldn’t sign the note for my job to leave because only if I had high blood pressure they would take me out of work. BUT I DID HAVE IT. Worst experience with first pregnancy ever. Any recommendations within westchester NY?

For the same reasons I've decided to see a midwife. I'm with Beacon Community Midwifery and they're fantastic

Wow I’m so sorry to hear that you were treated that way! I go to Optum and see Dr Pierce. She is amazing and they work with northern westchester for birth. You can request to see only your provider, that’s what I did and saw her every time. She is very thorough, but also very calm and walks you through situations. During my pregnancy I had preeclampsia and she helped me every every step of the way, and the nurse that works directly with her, Tami, is the absolute best.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
