We introduced it at 16 months and our little boy loves it x

I bought my LG a set but balked at using it as she sleeps like a lunatic (travels in her sleep all over the cot). I'd be interested in seeing what people say!

I’ve got a bed shuffler too! Introduced a pullow and on a good night with go on and off it but stay the right way up. Other nights she will sit up and then plop down the wrong way round so haven’t introduced the duvet yet! However we have it on the sofa and use it to snuggle and put over us if we read or have the tv on to get her to understand what to do with it

Introduced both at 12 months, she would move around a lot and often flipped the pillow on her head. So instead of removing it I placed it underneath the bed sheet life saver! Never moves and no fears of her suffocating herself either. With the duvet I tucked the bottom in under the mattress and if she doesn’t want it she just flips it off herself and will now often pull it back onto herself, rather than me checking throughout the night and reapplying it onto her ,

A small light weight baby blanket is fine at 18 months, but you shouldnt be using a full size blanket until moving them to a toddler bed without the railings. The concern is that they can get the heavier larger blanket tangled in the bars and possibly strangle themself.

You can use the lightweight first toddler duvets and pillows, they’re about the same weight as the sleeping suits. My daughter has never even achieved getting any of the duvet into the railings. But of course use at your own discretion as mother knows best for her children 🤷🏼♀️x

My baby is 17 months, I have tried to offer her a pillow but she would not settle down un till pillow is on the floor :D so she is not ready yet.. duvet- not gonna bother also as she is very restless at night so would be not appropriate." Thank you" to that person that invented sleeping bags :D
