Teething pains?

My almost 3 year old has been grizzly this evening, complaining about a pain in the lower corner of her mouth. She has been fussing and wanting to be held like a baby. She's picked at her dinner and has now fallen asleep whilst being held by her daddy. Could it be teething pains for the second set of molars? Is anyone else's little one teething, and if so, any tips on how I can ease her discomfort? Her other baby teeth all came through, with minimal fuss, but it feels like such a long time ago that I've forgotten what to do.
