I don't know if I'm overthinking but I feel like babys kicks was stronger before, now they feel weaker the last few days and more like a bubble sensation again. Don't often feel proper kicks anymore that I can recall. Should I be worried?

Phone assessment unit if you are worried! That’s what they are there for x

If they don't feel right to you and you're worried at all then ring your local assessment unit and go get checked. Better to get checked than worry! X

How far are you and might just depend on the baby’s position try a warm bath I wouldn’t worry too much but if your really worried get booked in for an emergency scan

I had this last week! I was also unwell last week with a stomach bug but felt very weak movements. My midwife told me to contact the hospital assesment unit that deal. I did wait a few days and then went in and baby started kicking away more on the machine for 1 hour than they did the last 3/4 days. Since then they have moved position and are permanently kicking me in the ribs now! I felt like a timewaster but my midwife said movements shouldn't even reduce as I thought maybe with less space and my anterior placenta but so glad I went as everything was fine and I did start worrying!

My babies have been exactly the same the last 3 days much more gentle, softer, slower movements rather than the super strong jabby kicks I was getting before. I'm assuming he's just getting more control over his movements but have also wondered if I should be calling

I don't know what my assessment number is tbh, I feel baby moving now but it's little bubble movements rather than actual kicks. I just don't know if I can remember how long ago a proper kick was, my partner seems to think it was a couple of days ago but I don't really remember and his sense of time isn't always great.

29 weeks today x

The number for mine was in my maternity notes there is a lot of numbers. However I imagine if you google your hospital and look at departments they will have a maternity assessment department or unit that will speak to you. Or you can call your midwife and they will advise. The local midwifes apparently can do heartbeat checks up to 26 weeks but after that you have to go on the proper monitor at local hospital. I didnt have many movements for 3/4 days and so glad I did go, although everything was fine and was clearly position! Just helps put your mind at ease!

Always worth getting checked. Your local assessment number should be on your badger app under hospital contacts x

Always worth getting checked if you’re worried.
Will also change with babies position too ie, forward or backward facing, upside down, transverse etc etc.

Have they moved higher/lower? Do you know where your placenta is? Hope you were able to get it checked and reassured x
