What would you do…
One of my pretty good friends is having her hen do 4/5weeks before my due date…it’s a good 4hr train away from home…her bridesmaids are wanting deposits paid soon (before my 12 week scan) I’m not sure what to do…I don’t think I want to go think it would be too much too close to DD but I also don’t want to tell people I’m pregnant before the deposit is due…DILEMMAS

It seems like you know you don't want to go, sp could you tell the bridesmaids that something personal means you aren't able to go/afford to go and the wait for 12 week scan to then tell your friend perhaps?
If she’s your pretty good friend you might wanna tell her exclusively due to the importance of her life event as well as she’s likely going to be upset/sad/disappointed. But I personally wouldn’t go either
If you really don’t want to make an exception and tell her, you might want to make up an excuse such as a planned surgery or such? I’m thinking of this from personal experience because I’m often due to big endometriosis surgery but maybe you can adapt it to your own situation? Or the wedding of a close cousin? Something like this?
I’m in the same boat so told the organiser I am pregnant but told her not to say anything. Once I’ve had my 12 week scan and alls well the bride will find out anyway and understand x
