Hi I have just recently found out I am pregnant with twins I am still very early on but have been told they maybe mono/mono twins and I now feel soo terrified :( I am just wondering if anyone on here has any experience with mono/mono twins

I have literally been petrified since being told and I'm struggling soo much I have another scan booked in two weeks time to see if a membrane has formed (I will be 8 and a half weeks by then) but they said to me today that usually this is already visible? 🙁

Hi, I went for a private scan at 8 weeks and was told they were sharing a sac. I was absolutely terrified after googling it! Then I went for the proper NHS scan at 12 weeks and the membrane was visible - they were both in separate sacs after all and are therefore MCDA twins which was a big relief. I think it’s quite common for the membrane not to be visible in the Early scan, try not to panic (I know it’s easier said than done) xxx
