I’m traveling with my 9 month old for the first time and it’s about a 5 hour flight. Any tips/tricks for the flight and while in Mexico. We are staying at an all inclusive resort in PV. He’s not walking yet so I’m sure we will be fine overall but just nervous about the flight mostly.
We plan to take toys, snacks, bottles and headphones (for the loud plane noise). But not sure what to expect or what will help. I just don’t want to be “those” parents that everyone hates by the end because he screams the entire ride 😭 (he’s not really like that normally but you never know)

My little one slept most of the time!!! The air pressure just made him sleepy haha. He may just sleep or may just be super playful. We got the Montessori toy that has all the strings and everything and that kept him occupied! But definitely snacks help a lot!!

My 9 month old has been on 10 flights already! I feed during takeoff and during descent as ears usually pop then. Also anytime during the flight my own ears popped I assumed her ears popped as well, so I would feed her for a few min during that as well. Quiet toys held on by pacifier clips work great, if you’re on a window seat the suction fidget spinner toys are perfect. Check stroller at the gate so you have it upon arrival. And most importantly (easier said than done) don’t worry about other people!!!!!! Literally almost everyone couldn’t care less, and you’ll most likely be offered a kind hand. On all my flights people behind and next to us just wanted to play peek a boo with my daughter. Just have the essentials at a quick reach and take walks down the aisle if needed. You got this

What Lexi said! Plus take extra pacifiers if he takes them, some are bound to drop to the floor or touch something gross 😂 we also had a small portable sound machine that helped with naps
