Baby clothes sizes when in between sizes
My baby is 3kg/6.6lbs but is longer in length. She is now sizing out of clothes for newborns which is 9lbs and I will be moving onto 10lbs. But after that the clothes sizes are 0-3m and look huge.
I’m not sure whether to buy more 10lbs clothes or just put her in slightly larger clothes. She is growing quickly … clothes that fit her last week no longer fit length wise

In what way are they no longer fitting? And do you mean baby grows? X
mainly baby grows. When she stretches they’re tight on her feet. One pair of dungarees are tight on her tummy
Some places do 1-2m and sizes like that, have a wee look at h&m! x
I have this issue as my baby is fairly small with long legs. I’ve been ‘pulling’ the fabric on the newborn size legs to make them fit. If they have been washed in the dryer it works well because there’s a lot of give in the fabric it just needs stretching a bit. I think that’s better than using the 0-3 months that are way too big!
Your lucky it’s the opposite for my little girl no clothes fit her
how come? My baby is premature so I had that issue when she was born. Finding clothes tiny enough was the biggest headache .. now having this issue lol

Tesco definitely comes up small. That’s a good idea with a tape measure actually 🤣
that is such a good idea … the clothes definitely shrink in the wash and dryer! I’ll try that
I’ve been using the up to 1m and they fit perfectly - next have some nice ones however my midwife just suggested cutting the feet off the newborn ones and putting socks on instead or buying footless ones
I’ll check the sizes in Next also. I’m saving the clothes for a friend who is having triplets x
yes I didn’t like the idea of cutting feet off as wanted to sell on vinted or give to friends afterwards
I had the same problem so I just started putting her in vests and pants with shirts and socks and it works fine so far
that’s true. They seem to size better and for longer but I hate taking off the bottoms for nappy changes 🤣 might have to just do it for a few weeks whilst she fits into her new stuff x
me too but even with bodysuits I always end up taking everything off anyways cause my baby always pees or poos again the moment I open the diaper or am about to put on the new one. So everything gets messy again. 😅 so at this point it doesn’t make much difference
