Burping baby

I try to burp my son after every feed but sometimes don't get anywhere 😂 He is also so unsettled in the next to me but the second I cuddle him he tends to settle so if I need to, I cuddle him till he's in a deep sleep and then transfer him to the next to me.. I've also found he sleeps better with a blanket 🤷‍♀️ The only way I get any sleep some nights is by snuggling with him 🥰

We have this issue and we have been using gripe water and also lightly massaging her tummy in a clockwise motion and that seems to help and get some burps out

Feels like we are all going through the samethig😂
My Midwife advised that i break the feeds for my LO especially when i bottle feed. For example, for a 90ml bottle feed, give baby 30ml, then give a break to burp, give her another 30ml and so on. This has helped reduce the amount of gas in my baby’s tummy.

I Breastfeed and burp. 70% of the time I’ll get one. If he’s fussy during his feed then I’ll burp him mid feed too. We had to try a few techniques to find what worked though! X

With my boy I burp at every ounce. He’s 4 weeks drinking 5oz, so after every ounce drunk I will burp him, also burp him after he’s finished and keep him sat upright for 10-15 mins after a feed to let his stomach settle, otherwise he will start fussing and getting uncomfortable if I lay him down straight away

I second - burping between ounces has helped massively along with infacol, try laying them on their back between rubbing back to allow the bubbles to move around a little - good luck, it’s a journey 🥰
