Swaddles/Newborn Sleep
I'm looking at some options for swaddles but not sure what to get.
I've got a few of the Love To Dream Swaddles saved but don't know what size or tog we'd need with April babies....such a changeable time in terms of weather and temperature!
Or, do I not bother with specific swaddles and use muslins?
Please help, my brain is driving me mad! Tell me what you're all thinking for newborn sleep!

Good question - I’m following if that’s ok!
I've got a 2.5 sleepbag, and will probably get another and maybe a 1.0 tog. Some sleepbags require baby to be above a certain weight though, so you have to check each products guidance. If needed, I will layer light muslins as appropriate when not using sleepbag.
Have the same question i want a lovely to swaddle but no idea what tog!
2.5 togs can be used all year round so I got one of them for now and will prob buy a few more

Our house is old and so off, summer it keeps the heat real bad to the point where we already know we’re going to need an air con unit to try and keep the room cooler otherwise we’re looking at 25/26 degrees during hot weather. Then in winter it can be as cold as 15 brrr (with this I’d probs just as another layer though), it’s keeping cool that worries me!
we’re the same - our house is old and last summer was unbearable some nights, even with a fan directly on us! April is a tricky time of year to plan for weather wise and then thinking of the summer months and what we’ll need
I tried a few and love to dream were my favourite we used 2.5 tog but had a 1tog for if we had a heatwave x
