Was slowly introducing organic whole milk to my son and he’s now had diarrhea for the past day. We use kendamil as a formula which has whole milk so I didn’t think it would be an issue. What do I do? Goats milk? No milk? Kind of freaking out that he’s lactose intolerant? Anyone experienced this before?

Ya mine had very acidic poop for 3 days. on the second day I realized it was the milk and stopped .maybe just do almond or something

So diarrhea for a day or two is somewhat normal because they’re tummy’s are getting adjusted. Milk can be irritating to stomach in general let alone a baby who trying it for the first time. We’re personally not doing cow’s milk, we’re doing cashew and almond milk and we haven’t had any issues. I’d give him another day and if he is still have diarrhea maybe look at alternative milk.

I’m glad I seen this post. We just started with an 1oz of whole milk this morning with our daughter. You could always reach out to the nurse at your pediatrician office and ask them a few questions about it and what to do if it continues.
