We just recently did a long haul flight to Bangkok, also had the Bassinet seat, it was a life saver. We just took the usual items we would take in a change bag, plenty of nappies and a few change of clothes too. We took 3 of his favorite toys on board with us, didn't need more than that. The people and everything going on around is entertaining enough. Make sure your bag is really organised and things easy to get hold of. You have to put the bag in the overhead bin so you want it all easy access. My bag was a mess and it was awful 🙈 If you formula feed we took the pre made bottles of milk but you can also travel with Thermos of water and powder. If you breast feed then happy days - less to pack. We also took a bottle brush and washing up liquid just incase we need to wash a bottle. Also, if there is turbulence the baby can't be in the Bassinet so be prepared for that also. We did spend fair bit of our outbound flight holding him. And take a blanket for the bassinet
Sorry, this is alot!

Just add on the great advise already given above, don’t be afraid to ask the crew for help will love a cuddle with a little one! X

bassinet seat
fav puree packs
fav toys
nappy change on board in the beginning and end of flight… you’ll be free to do your stuff in airport

You can get some fidget spinner style toys which suction cup to the plane windows and tray tables - were very handy for us! And a few downloaded episodes of coco melon helped too if that’s your vibe x

All of the above. We had things broken down into smaller bags within the big bag to help when it had to be stowed away.
We were also told by a flight attendant friend to bring a bag or two of sweets for the crew and to let them know it was our first long haul flight. Worked a treat - they were so grateful and kind to us.

Thanks so much everyone you’ve made me feel much more confident!
