I didn't get the test early on as I'm considered high risk however due to some rapid growth and extra fluid I am currently being tested, however they aren't doing the actual test- I am just taking my levels 4 times a day for a week.
Any one else been where I am?

Yes, in my first pregnancy I was considered really low risk but developed symptoms at 34 weeks so I had an Hba1C blood test and was given a glucose monitor to test 4 times a day, I was diagnosed the next day as every post meal reading and my fasting reading was high. I was instantly put on insulin for my fasting and before breakfast as well as metformin. I also developed it in my second pregnancy but really early, I started monitoring my fasting result from 6 weeks which was high so I was put on insulin from 8 weeks. I then went onto need insulin before every meal even though I was following a strict diabetic diet. Hope that helps. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me or PM me, I’m happy to help. x
