Ladies, I am literally backed into a corner. I cannot squeeze out anymore of any of the resources I know and have tried- to better help me and my sons get on our feet and get ahead. Long story short, have a 2 year old and 1 year old- 11 months apart and both boys. My oldest has autism. He has therapy everyday usually every week. My car engine is shot and now I have no car. I can’t work right now because I can’t afford daycare and the government has these outlandish requirements to even gain assistance. So without an income I can’t do a thing. Child support is still waiting on a hearing, everything right now is messed up. My sons dad upped and left last year and now is happily living with a new girl and starting a new life as if the three of us don’t exist and all while I’m literally suffering in emotional pain. I need a place of our own, even a room. But not a shelter. I need somewhere right now where me and my sons can shut the door and just have our little safe haven. I also need a car. How am I supposed to do his therapy with no car? No gas $? This stuff really is too much on my heart. I’m in pain, I’m hurting, I’m at a loss of direction. Someone please lmkkkkk.

Have you reached out to Early Intervention? They can set you up with free resources and potentially free Pre-K. Our son is autistic also, and now he has free care from 8 to 3, allowing us to work more, among other things. You child can ride the bus to/from school if needed. You likely need the break to reconfigure and very much hope you can figure it out. Edit to add that now that dad is out of the picture, you can only enter your income for assistance and that should absolutely make you eligible for many benefits

Just an FYI: if you say you are homeless, your benefits get expedited.

No advice just a virtual hug. So sorry Momma.

Idk if you have medicade the state has transportation to and from appointments or to pharmacy. I know you said no government assistance but yeah

I don't know if they 211 in your area but you can call them and they will give you resources
