Cold/flu remedies in pregnancy
Help! I’ve heard you’re not allowed to take any medicine unless prescribed I guess but I can’t even remember the last time I had a cold :( am I allowed to take Lemsip? I know it has paracetamol in it…. Been two days and I’m already over this cold. Any alternatives?

You can’t have lemsip as it raises your blood pressure!
I’ve been using strepsils (don’t use them if you have GD)
Paracetamol
And Vicks over my chest and back!
I’ve got this horrible flu that’s going round and honestly feel like death but these are helping😂😩
Paracetamol is fine, that’s about all you can have. You can’t have Lemsip due to the decongestant ingredients
You can have paracetamol, try Vicks vaporub too. Honey & lemon with hot water. I’ve just recovered from covid + a chest infection from it and this was all I could have (besides my antibiotics)
I need to go buy some Vicks I guess sigh can’t even remember last
Time I had a cold 😅 feel like crap then I’m like oo life of a mum when you’re ill you’re still looking after everyone lol.
I get scared that I’m squashing baby with every sneeze and cough smh!

I’ve had flu / cold twice now this pregnancy, shes definitely a little more active now I’m full of cold again and kicks every time I sneeze and cough😂
