Pattern is a great one too!

cosmetologist and haircare specialist here- i’d still stick with kids products. their hair is still very delicate at this age and adult products have a lot of fragrance in them.
i use the brand curly kids. i use it on all my clients and my own kids. it is very gentle, but it give great results and really packs in the hydration.
they have a whole line of shampoos, conditioners, detanglers, curl creams, leave ins.
then i’d follow it with grapeseed oil. i add castor and rosemary oil to the grapeseed to help promote growth and moisture retention
is her hair high or low porosity? low porosity hair needs more clarifying treatments whereas high porosity hair needs more moisture added to it.

ok this is good advice . I believe her hair is more high porosity because I’ll moisturize it and it’ll be dry in no time I need something that’ll help keep moisture

what products are you using on her now? like shampoo conditioner. any oils or creams?

sometimes high porosity hair does better with layering. like dampening her hair, adding a nice thick leave in conditioner. really massage that in and run it through her hair. then adding an oil on top. the oil will have a lot to adhere to that way. and that will really lock in the moisture to her hairs cuticle so her hair retains moisture for longer. how often do you shampoo her?

I’ve been using mielle shampoo conditioner and this line called alikay for the other hair products… which kid’s products do you suggest

https://shop.curlykidshaircare.com/ is the website i order off of. i also buy it in walmart/target if they have it in stock. but sometimes is hard to find in store.
i personally love mielle, but i have noticed that it can be a bit drying for kids bc of the fragrance. i do really like the pomegranate honey line made for type 4 hair. but i only use the hair masks on kids
