Please share how you night weaned from BF

Same! My little boy is on them all night and they're so sore. It must be a comfort thing as can't imagine they need it that much that they hurt 😨

Have you got a dummy? After she's finished, and you know she's just sucking instead of actually having the breast milk, then pop the dummy in her mouth as I learnt this from when I had my first. Hope this helps xxxx

Have you got a partner or family member that can help? I stopped BF about a month ago and it was thanks to my husband taking over and establishing a new bedtime routine that didn't involve me that I was able to stop.

He takes her into her dark room with all the lights off so she knows it's bedtime. He gives her a bottle of milk (she has never accepted a bottle until now) and then he walks around with her until she falls asleep in his arms (usually takes less than 5 mins). Then he puts her in the cot.

I had to stop BF cos she was waking every 1-3 hours and I was so sleep deprived, I began to wonder if she was waking because I was feeding her. Turns out I was right cos now she's sleeping so much better and only waking once.

You may just have to trial and error different settling methods that work for you but just be consistent with it and have lots of patience because it's a big transition x
