I think my lack of sleep is causing my PPD to worsen. Does anyone else feel like this? Iโve been so bad today ๐ข anxious, depressed, agitated, scared, almost like Iโm crawling out of my skin.

Yesterday I broke down crying to my partner saying "I just don't want to be a mom today" so today was his day off and he let me sleep in until 2pm after being up with the babies all night ๐ teething, sick 9 month old twins that just climb me and cry all day, and then sleep like shit all night, has my mental health sttrruuuggllinnngg right now ๐ฌ

Yepppp!! ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

Lack of sleep, breastfeeding, anxiety ๐ just continue to pray mama! You got this โจ๐ค

Me too ๐ฅน

Totally agree!

I was like that too! PPD is no joke. I still get it sometimes and my son is 3 years old.

๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ youโre not alone. Iโve been doing weekly therapy and on meds which have helped a bit but still really struggling ๐

ABSOLUTELY once I was out of the thick of the fog it realized the sleep aspect is really what's making it worseb. Also I went to my doctor for my 6 week check up and he prescribed Zoloft. When I asked him what's a more natural solution since I don't like to take medications, especially ones like that, he said get more sleep and sleep when the baby sleeps. It's laughable that they say sleep when the baby sleeps but he's right. Sleep is the best thing you can do most natural. It's just hard to actually do.
You can have someone support you by getting a bottle prepared for them so they can bottle feed the baby at night for you while you catch some sleep. It's really those night time feedings that mess up your sleep routine. So if you can get someone to help you with that that would be best just once or twice we'll make a big difference

I also took up weekly therapy when I realized I was struggling. But I realized when taking therapy that what I need most is sleep. Not meds or therapy or mental help. Just simple sleep. I am also a person who LOVES TO SLEEP. I am a a PRO when it comes to sleep and have always said I can't live without my 9 hours. Here I am only sleep 3 hrs at a time. Its really tough on you
