Hi just a question baba is 10 weeks old now and last night she had a feed at 10 and slept all the way through until 8 this morning without waking up for a bottle. I was exhausted so didn't even realise until I got up this morning she'd gone 10 hours without a bottle. Should I wake her up during the night for a feed or let her sleep. She used to get up 2 or 3 times for feeds.

If she's past her birth weight, you can let her sleep. If she was hungry, she would have cried and woken up to feed. Enjoy the extra hours of sleep when it happens 🙂

thank you just wasn't sure and she's a a good nearly 12 pounds now so definitely over her birth weight x

My LO does this regularly, HV said to let them sleep as long as they’re above birth weight / not losing weight! She said they will soon let you know if they’re hungry! Enjoy the sleep!

My LO is 11 weeks old, and she’s been sleeping through since she was 6 weeks. She’s above her birth weight so it’s absolutely fine! Xx

My baby is 9weeks and she sleeps 10pm til 8/9am with 1 small feed at 4/5am.

as long as they’re gaining weight right then you don’t have to wake to feed

did you do anything different or was this just magic one night it happened?! Mine is 6 weeks and still up every 3 hours and I’m praying for the time she sleeps a little more! X

she slept through for the first couple days after hospital and I had a sleep swaddle and she loved it but she outgrew it around 6 weeks and switched over to a sleeping bag, and she didn’t notice, she loves to listen to white noise, or even just fall asleep watching the tv, sometimes she prefers to fall asleep on her own then to being cuddled which I wish she loves cuddles moreðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚xx

oh also, we’ve had a routine since 4 days old, bath, bottle and then bed, I think she knows when she gets put in her sleeping bag and next to me that’s when she has her big sleep not little cat naps, we try keep the room pretty dark as well as lights keep her up xx

Celebrate that is natural!!! And may not happen for another 12 month. You don’t have to worry after 5 month about feeding on demand.

My baby slept like that at 10 weeks I just let her sleep and if she’s hungry she would wake up for a feed I just upped her bottle in the morning to 2 extra oz if she was still hungry I would make a bottle of 3 oz and she would be fine until her next feed x

And trust me she’s 1 next month and she’s a big eater when it comes to solids. And she’s the average weight and height so your baby should be ok if you let them sleep through and give them a bigger feed of a morning.
