Period after birth
So i gave birth to my son 6 weeks ago today! My pp bleed lasted 3 weeks, forward to 5 weeks pp me and my partner decide to try be intimate, my partner got carried away and didn’t realise i’d just given birth and aren’t on any contraception yet and does his business inside me. I straight away pushed him off and went straight to the toilet, and just had a laugh because if i didn’t laugh i would’ve cried. I’m now 6 weeks pp and should be expecting a period soon should i not? I have no symptoms of a period and now panic has set in! We both made it clear after my sons birth we are very much done having babies, neither of us want anymore children especially one that will be born before my son is even 1, i know this is a fault of our own (more my partners😂) but now i have no idea what to do! I’m panicking like mad. When did everyone else have their period after birth?? I am bottle feeding as well so i know should come on sooner then breastfeeding xx

Honestly periods can happen at any time. I didn’t get my first period after birth until around 10 weeks pp. but if I were you I’d just be doing a pregnancy test every week 😂. You’re incredibly fertile and I’d say it’s actually probably a miracle if you don’t fall pregnant 😭
Just keep testing until around 4 weeks after sex and if they’re all negative then you’re definitely not x
Honestly it’s been such a worry!! I know this why i instantly jumped up and my partner was just so oblivious to what was going on, until i explained it and he then realised. i’m going to test next week just hoping my period comes soon😅😩Thank you!! xx
