I have a venti caramel frappe from Starbucks should I be okay to drink that for my caffeine of the day? My mom is making me freak out over the fact I’m drinking coffee but I been craving it for legit months opinions advice? I can’t find how many milligrams are in it some sites say 115-130 and another says 215 :/

The Starbucks app has the caffeine content for all of their drinks! Use that and mobile order! A grande is usually under the 200mg except in the shaken espressos, but it varies by drink

for the drink on my app it says 120 for the venti so I think it’s fine then I just wasn’t sure cus of how many results there was

Just ask for it with a cream base instead of a coffee one tastes pretty much the same but little caffeine

excuse me for my denseness but what’s a cream base Ik they have the frappe powder and the shot espresso so would that be like a vanilla bean caramel frappe or like an actual powder thing they put in

Unfortunately Starbucks puts no more shots in a venti than a grande 😩 so you're fine haha

Also yes that would be like a vanilla bean frappe not even close to the same without the coffee flavor but sounds like a yummy drink too! I think there's is pretty much no caffeine in it then though

that’s good to hear I did more research and saw my drink had less caffeine than a normal cup of coffee so I’m feeling so much better I’ll def try out the vanilla bean one next time

I see it like this. The recommendation is 200mg a day but I drink water all day everyday so if I go over 200 in one day I don't see a problem. I just wouldn't drink the full 200 in 1 sitting

it took me maybe 5-6 hours to drink it cus I also thought keeping it slower would be a good idea to :D

Starbucks can do 2/3 decaf and 1/3 caffeinated. I’ve been ordering like that a lot! Or you can do full decaf or 1/2 1/2

I think I’ll be trying half the caffeine if I want my caramel Frappuccino again cause they are so good! Thank u for the advice I forget I can request one less shot of espresso sometimes lol

You could also see if the caramel ribbon crunch crème Frappuccino satisfies the craving because the crème Frappuccinos don’t have any caffeine at all 😊

Caffeine adds up quickly it’s in coco butter lotion and can directly affect the babies heart, it’s in soda, tea, obviously coffee, etc. 200 is the recommended amount per day but even that is a lot I try to stay under 100 and drink a lot of water. My sister does cardiovascular pediatrics and tells me all about how it affects babies heart (especially the coco butter stretch mark lotion) and how it affects the heart rate and the ekg and can cause other issues
I stick to decaf when I go to Starbucks
And I drink decaf at home if I really need it I’ll do half caff but only at home

They don’t put coffee in there frappachinos it’s just a coffee base which is a coffee syrup basically every frap has a cream base or a coffee base which is the only thing that would have caffeine in a caramel frap

fraps don’t have espresso in them at Starbucks so you can’t ask for half caffeine or decaf it’s just the coffee base or the cream base

two pumps of frap coffee base equals one shot of expresso

you can ask decaf but doing a decaf shot instead of frap base they just put creme base and decaf shot of expresso

when I worked there I never once put a shot of anything in a frap unless they payed extra for it

Since there is a recommendation for the amount of caffeine intake I figure I can’t be good to have any, or there wouldn’t be a limit. My husband may order one and I may take a few sips but personally I wouldn’t get my own. I do drink a can of Coke if I’m feeling sick though ! But it’s totally up to you! My friend had consumed coffee every day and he baby was born with heart defect, again I don’t know if this was coincidence or how much she drank a day. But that’s why I usually opt out of a whole coffee

that is exactly what I’m saying. If you just ask for a cream base, then there’s no coffee
