Help

I grew up with a mom who didn’t do our hair. Idk what to do with my hair let alone my sons. I have 4C (Afro) hair. He’s mixed with black (me) and Mexican and Italian (dad) Literally start from the top haha what do I do xD 1.) how often should I wash it? 2.) is it best to brush or comb? 3.) what hair type do you think he has? Any other tips you can think of

His curls are beautiful 🤩 it’s super important to keep them moisturised either with a leave-in conditioner or even mid weight oil. Only comb it when it’s wet and you can put in a product to help the curls form. Idk if you have it in the US but cantu kids is great 😊 in general, curly hair doesn’t need to be washed as much… hope that helps somewhat 🥳

I think you should wash his hair once a week(10 days) because as the pp said you should keep his hair moisturized which will result in product in his hair everyday. Brushing is okay if it get kinky a comb will get it out but only while his hair is wet. He has beautiful curls I have 2 mix girls with curls If he's using a pillow get a silk pillow case to protect his hair my girls don't keep a Bonnet on and this is back up
