When does cradle cap come off?

My baby is 4 months old and she still has a lot of her cradle cap. Especially in the front on her hair line. I thought it was taking awhile to come off because I gave birth at 35 weeks so she was super early but idk. Her father says it will come off on its own which is fine but when did your babies come off?

Mine believe it or not I winged it lol. I saturated his scalp and hair with baby vasaline. Left it for 24hrs then washed it off with a mix of baby shampoo and dish soap lol call me crazy but idk it worked literally it all came off and didn’t come back. I did wash his scalp twice that day to give it a break. I’d suggest use baby conditioner the scalp will be dry.

Have you checked out the baby head scrubbers on Amazon? My son had that for a while until I came across that it has a soft side to scrub and then a little brush on the other side and it comes with a baby comb also. Just something to check out ❤️

The Frida baby three step.

@Dina I’ll look into it. Thanks!

Cradle cap brush and sweet almond oil has worked well for us! Coconut oil helped the cradle cap but was giving him acne so I switched to almond.

I mix Vaseline, jojoba oil, and dove baby oil together and apply it to her hair and scalp and it keeps it away and moisturized. And I also wash her hair with craddle cap shampoo every other day.

The way I've been getting rid of my son's is to gently brush his hair (that he has a lot of lol) with a comb, after a bath, and oiling his head down with baby oil. As well as using these little scrubies I got for the shower on his head.

My sons cradle cap came off faster then I thought. We probably had it for 4 weeks maybe. We tried tons of different special shampoos for cradle cap as well as coconut oil after baths and using breast milk during baths. Using a scalp sponge or fine brush helped us too.
