Cradle cap

I’ve been gently removing baby’s cradle cap w/ a baby fine tooth comb & just lifting off what is already pretty loose & just combing thru her hair to get it out. But now I’m wondering if that wasn’t a good idea? FTM mom w/ anxiety so 🫠🤷🏼‍♀️

I can’t *not* remove it. I coat my babies head in coconut oil before bath time and it makes the cradle cap really soft and you can use a comb or soft toothbrush to rub it off.

Nah, I scrubbed the cradle cap off my baby’s head. It was gross looking and wasn’t coming off her head.

Our pediatrician told us you can pick it off if you want lol he also said a teeny tiny bit of like selsum blue shampoo helps too

We've been using the frida baby Cradle cap shampoo and it's been working great!

I use the frida craddle cap comb...scrub the shampoo...brush it...then comb it....works wonderfully

Does it come back or once it’s off it’s off?

You can pick at it gently. I used a little comb for doing edges. I knew it was safe because my best friend got cradle cap from cancer treatments when her hair started to come back, and she was told it was ok to pick. My boys came back in lesser intensity a month or two later. Its gone now.
