Sounds like round ligament pain and it’s normal your body release a hormone called relaxin and It loosens and relaxes your muscles, joints and ligaments during pregnancy to help your body stretch. Relaxin also helps your body prepare for delivery by loosening the muscles and ligaments in your pelvis. It can be painful at times.

Oh my gosh yes!! It’s agony!! Mine started really really early (can’t remember exact weeks but well under 12!). Now 13 weeks and been told it’s normal for some of us! Xx

I’m 5w6d and have also experienced that same aching pain in the groin area tonight as well. I have a couple of uterine fibroids so I often times wonder how they might affect my pregnancy as it progresses.

Thanks everyone i was so confused cause this didn’t happen with my first pregnancy at all!!

Yes! It's been bad for like 2 weeks now probably. I'm 27 weeks. But I over do it all the time with my lifting at work still so those are the days that's it's really bad

Unwell after sweep

I’ve had a sweep earlier today, lost the mucus plug about a couple hours later. Got period type cramping immediately, I hadn’t even left the midwife appointment yet. I have contractions and permanent back cramping, alongside waves of nausea - which is a combination I’m struggling with as I feel quite unwell. Nowhere near labour, as I’ve had 6 contractions in the span of 3 hours or so. A midwife told me sweeps cause really bad cramping, so I assumed it was normal. But just want to check if there’s anybody out there in a similar boat? Should I be calling the hospital to check if it’s all normal?

Has your life become a living nightmare since becoming a mom?

Sometimes I become conscious of the fact that I just have to wake up tomorrow morning and do this all over again. Every day. And then I wanna bash my head into a brick wall

39 Week Induction Being Pushed On

Went to my 36 week appointment today and my OB was pushing for a 39 week induction.

I want a natural spontaneous labor but my OB kept pushing for the induction even if I’m low risk and healthy. Is anyone else experiencing this?
