OK so i was ment to just be breast feed my baby but he's been Im hospital as not geting enough fluids and having jaundice as my milk didn't come in untill way later and I only have a little amount at the moment, so we have to use formula for his feeds, while we were in hospital they lent me a pump to use so I expressed and gave him breast milk topped up with formula to the correct amount.. now I'm home, I was ment to be borrowing a pump but now theyre saying they are all out been serviced so to buy my own and I don't know where to start, I really don't want to spend 100s but I really need a pump, any ideas ladies?

Spectre pump 1or 2 are really good. They are recommended by many places as a hospital type pump to help bring up supply. Only difference between 1 and 2 are that spectra 2 is plug in and the other is portable

Don't get the handfree ones! I exclusively pumped for 18 months with my first and into my 5th month with my second. My absolute go to pump is the lasinoh 2-1 double electric, couldn't reccomend it enough. The spectra s2 is a close second

Medela harmony manual pump is my favourite and I got on better than the electric pumps

@Jess how do you get on with it? Could be an option 🤔

thankyou, I'll definitely have a look

much better than the manual I had, I pump quite a few times a day and can’t fault it x

@Heather-Jayde thankyou for the advice, I'll have a look at both, keep hearing good things about the spectra though

@Jess and its not going to cost the earth.. I could buy 1 for each 😂 will probably get one, always worth a try :)

@Abi Thankyou for the help, spectra seems like it's a winner

I rate my Pippeta compact single hands free pump and paid about £70 for it

tommee tippee has a sale on. You get an electric pump, bottle warmer and other essentials for £89.
