Termination?
I found out recently I’m pregnant with baby number 4.. my partner has been fine with it all until today. My mum and dad have had their input and filled my partners head with negatives about said pregnancy and he’s told me today he wants me to have an abortion. My parents don’t support me and also want me to have an abortion, my 2 closest friends have also said it’d be better if I had an abortion too. I’ve got nobody and I mean nobody to talk to about things and it’s eating me up inside.. I don’t want an abortion but at the same time I don’t want to struggle on my own with a 4th baby because nobody will be there to support me with it. I’m literally heartbroken and feel like my whole world is falling apart right in front of me and I feel like I have no control over any choices that I want to make 😭

If you take everyone out of the equation… how do YOU feel? What are the positives in keeping this baby? And what are the negatives? I’d start by writing them all down, and see what out weighs the other. No one else has the right to say that you should have an abortion xx
I’m so sorry that you are in this situation! I have been there myself, I wanted to keep the baby but realistically the points everyone were making made sense, which was difficult to wrap my head around initially, but I knew I wouldn’t have been able to manage without the support from those around me. It was a hard decision to make, but it was what was best for our family at the time, as we already had two beautiful children. 3 years later and we are expecting again, and everyone has been so supportive. Is your partner saying no more children at all, or no more for right now? xx
In my opinion, your body, your choice. Simple as that.
When I fell pregnant with my first my mil’s exact words were ‘well that’s bloody stupid’ and we didn’t speak for ages because she didn’t like the idea of her grandbaby coming. She now if way too involved and invested in mine and my babies lives.
Why do they think it would be better if you had an abortion? What do YOU want?
You wrote ‘i don’t want an abortion’ so don’t do it. They will likely come around, and if they don’t, you got this. You can do it. Don’t let anyone pressure you into something you don’t want.
