The only thing I'm sure of is shower shoes and nursing bras and gown?

I was told a long charger! I bought a 10 ft one since I was told outlets are never near bed. But what I have so far in my bag is
Charger
Water bottle
Comfy clothes to wear after birth.
Snacks that I like
A small blanket for me (I hate hospital ones)
Travel size hygiene products like deodorant, dry shampoo, toothbrush and tooth paste.
My birth plan
Hair ties
2 outfits for baby (new born size and 0-3 months)

Something that hasn't been said is a folder for important paperwork like birth certificate. It can do double duty if you take your birth plans, make copies, in it.
Also, be sure to stick your bag in the carseat so it isn't forgotten. Even if you don't take the seat with you at first and you send your birth partner back to get it, you'll both know exactly where it is.

I was grateful to have my own pillow, charging banks, a charger, 2 outfits for my daughter, a wide comfortable pair of shoes (my feet really swelled), shower shoes, shower supplies, and I mostly wore nursing/postpartum pajamas (I think it totally depends on what you like to wear, I wanted to be comfortable). I won’t be packing much more for my son this go around. Also please make sure your car seat is installed before you go. I’d highly recommend @safeintheseat on Instagram for any help you need with install.

Check out Mommy.LaborNurse on instagram. She has a PDF list on what to pack for you and baby.

My first too hun 💙
Your bag
• your birth plan and hospital notes
• loose, comfortable clothing to wear during labour
• dressing gown and slippers or flip-flops (which are also good for wearing to the shower)
• nightwear – front-opening or loose-fitting if you're going to breastfeed
• 3 changes of comfortable clothes
• socks
• 5 or 6 pairs of knickers, disposable ones may be useful
• 2 or 3 comfortable bras, including nursing bras if you're planning on breastfeeding
• breast pads
• 2 packets of super-absorbent sanitary or maternity pads
• your wash bag – with toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, flannel, soap, lip balm, deodorant, hair bands, hand sanitiser, body lotion and anything else you need
• an eye mask may help you sleep on the brightly lit ward
• towels
• your own pillows
• healthy snacks, drinks and a water bottle (one with a straw may be handy)
• a fan or water spray to help keep you cool
• any medicines you're taking
• a TENS machine

For baby
For your baby, remember to take:
• bodysuits, vests and sleepsuits
• an outfit for going home in
• a hat, scratch mittens, socks or booties
• snowsuit if the weather is cold
• nappies
• cotton wool or wipes
• muslin squares
• car seat for the trip home
• a blanket or shawl

May I also recommend a travel Squatty potty. I know it sounds extra, but I absolutely needed it for that first time in the bathroom… (I use it all the time now too. And with this pregnancy I actually travel with it!)

-Chewing gum ‘(it helps with constipation post labor)
-If you can pump and extract colostrum (don’t do this until your past 38wks) store in syringes and bring to hospital in cooler bag for storage. You never know what kind of labor you’ll have or if it’s your first how easily you’ll pick up BF. It’s helpful to have a backup vs relying on formula if you don’t want to
-your prenatals (need to continue while bf)

any suggestions for car seats

I personally loved the Chicco keyfit 30. It was perfect for my daughter and I just bought a second for my son.

oooh I’m so glad you said this because I hate pooping without mine and I know that first poo after is going to be rough

I loved having these for there and couples days after lol and then loose baggy sweatpants to wear home so you can’t tell that’s what I’m wearing lol
