This acid reflux is no joke!

Currently 18 weeks, just starting to get bad heartburn and acid reflux in the past week and wow it’s lame! I made the mistake of drinking orange juice the other morning and then suffered from 12pm onward for it 😭 I’m attempting to eat more bland foods like oatmeal and congee but it is extremely boring and personally, I’m craving buffalo wings 🤣

Anyone else going through bad acid reflux during their second trimester?

I had horrendous acid reflux when i was preggo with my twins i ended up having to get medication from the doctor and that made me want to vomit but it did help a little, it didn’t last the rest of my pregnancy though so fingers crossed for you!

Try not to eat much with spice or heavy seasoning/oil or anything close to bedtime and if it gets really bad, you might have to sleep propped up on like 6 pillows. And sleep on your left side when having reflux! I went through almost an entire container of Tums every week for the last few months of my pregnancy 😩 hope it gets better for you!

If you're open to hippie advice, cell salt Natrum Phosphoricum 6X solved all my pregnancy heartburn! 🤩

I ate toast and got heartburn 😂 I’m just going to live off tums and milk at this point

ooooo I’m pregnant again…. I’m gonna do this! It’s natural?

YES! Cell salts are minerals that naturally occur in your body. If you're interested, Joette Calabrese actually has a regimen for pregnant ladies. It changes every month depending on where you are at with growing baby. My heartburn got worst in the month I was supposed to start Nat Phos and forgot. So she's onto something...https://joettecalabrese.com/blog/homeopathy/prenatal-preparation-with-homeopathy-the-best-gift-you-could-give/?amp=1

I will absolutely check this out!

I hope it works for you as magically as it did for me! 😁❤️

Yes. It’s the fucking worst. I’m trying all the tricks. Milk, bananas, yogurt, ginger tea. I find that if I walk around it helps. But the minute I sit. It’s back. It’s terrible.

I was also told to eat bananas and at the same time, am also constipated af and my doctor told me to not eat bananas. HARD SIGH 🤣

Yessss! I’m living on tums and milk.
I’ve started making a food log to see if anything specific is triggering it. My suspicion is chocolate and d tomatoes for mine.

Apples and coconut water have helped me a lot.

C - section

Hello lovelies, I’m getting closer to my date of c section.

Can I ask how it all went for you? I felt prepared and now I have this awful feeling what if I bleed out! I’m sure that’s not the case. But I just wondered how it went, and how the aftermath was. I have seen on social media people say it’s horrendous but then I speak to friends and family and they’re like yeah it’s not easy but you can cope! You can walk, etc. I think it’s the unknown… lol!

Also were you all sick during your procedure and did you all get terrible trapped gas? If so what tips do you have xx

Can you see anything? I’m 12 DPO 🙏

My own opinion is that this is inconclusive (can maybe see a vvvfl but could also be an indent too hard to tell) but curious what others see

Just want to sleep again! 🫩

I wake up around 8.30am, have some cereal, meditate/pray for a bit, make a cuppa and then by 10am I’m tired again and could easily nap. My iron levels have been checked and were fine. Is it just me or is anyone else feeling like this? I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant 👀

Best way to be induced??

I just found out I may need to be induced early due to preeclampsia and having a generally bigger baby which of the ways to be induced do y’all recommended?

This is a bit strange.. but hear me out

I am 36 weeks and 4 days today.
I had that feeling, you know when you are trying to take a tampon out on your end of period and it kind of hurts because the tampon is dry? I had that sensation today?

Now I feel like I have to push something about my vagina? It kinda tickles but uncomfortable. I’m not having any pains at all anywhere btw so can’t be baby ??
