Did anyone go into labor after a membrane sweep? How did it feel how long did it take? I was just checked today and I’m at 2 cm and got a sweep and I really hope it works 😭

I got my membranes swept twice and i didn’t go into labor at all. I asked to be induced. My son didn’t want to come out granted I had him 40w2d still never have labor on my own. It’s 50/50 with membrane sweeps

Mine worked the 2nd sweep after two days. But I helped it by doing what got my baby there in the first place🤭🤣
girlll if I weren’t a single mom I’d totally try this 😂😭 I honestly may ask to be induced at this point if this doesn’t work because I’m desperate 😭

I got my membranes swept at 3:30pm and went into labor at 3:30am 12 hours later. Woke up to crazy contractions. I was 39 weeks exactly.

Oh also i went and walked like a mile after my sweep appointment.
okay I walked up and down the stairs a few times after mine too so hopefully that helps I got mine done at 3 so fingers crossed 😭

I got a sweep, cramped about 40 minutes later and then contractions started. I got the sweep around 10-11am and gave birth at 10pm

I only did the induction so hubs could be present he was about to go out to sea
I wish this was me so far nothing has happened but I’m hoping some time today I will 🥴😂 oh wow so you definitely would’ve stayed pregnant if you could?

I got a membrane sweep and honestly wasn't bad at all. It took literally 5 seconds. I went into labour about 3 days later.

Yep, I would of but I didn’t want to be alone for weeks without help and I didn’t have anyone to drive me home if he did leave and you can’t drive but I ended up needing a c section so I would of been royally SOL
