Hello!
I am considering a 10 trip to Europe from the west coast in August just before our little one turns 1. I am thinking either Austria or Switzerland but open to other destinations as well if they are baby friendly.
Has anyone traveled to these 2 countries or any other European countries with a 1year old. Would you recommend it?
Thank you in advance

I’ve been to both and they’re lovely! I haven’t done them with my child but I think either would be fine with a 1 year old. Honestly, anywhere you decide will work! Just be sure to pack everything you need and enjoy!

Thank you for your response. It is reassuring and i will continue my planning. Do you think 10days is a good amount of time? We want to do it at a slower pace and be a bit flexible with our itinerary

10 days should be plenty!! I would say pick a few cities that you really want to visit and then you can even check out nearby towns and play it by ear. The nice part about European countries is the ease of transport with trains. You can easily get around.

Taken my 2 years on his 1st 🛳 I so excited. I know he going to have a blast he loves the outdoors life

Got it. Thank you

Definitely doable, but I think cities are hard with a toddler. I’ve decided to only do all inclusive and/or beach destinations until they’re older.

I went to Switzerland last year with my best friend and her 1 year old. We also saw soooo many babies & kids in general! It is an extremely child friendly place to vacation- tons of amazing playgrounds too! I hope to return with our soon to be baby in the future 😍 it was the most amazing place!

Thanks for the motivation. We finally decided to do UK this time. But will definitely go back to Switzerland as well with my little one some time 😊

We were only doing beach destinations till now , but wanted to try something else this time. Hoping it goes well 🤞
