Bad wind

I legit give up my little girl is 6 weeks and has real bad wind like I can hear it rattling around her belly I’ve spent a fortune on infacol and Dentinox so thought I’d give gripe water a go but nope seems like she has more wind than before. I’m doing the massages, bike kicks, burping during and after bottle, keeping her upright for 30 minutes after I’ve tried and I mean EVERYTHING but she still has bad wind and screams the entire times she’s awake

Have you tried colief? And might be worth cutting dairy from your diet

How are you feeding? Breast or bottle? I only ask cause we use the tommee tippee anti colic bottles and practice slow feeding (keeping baby sat up right and bottle horizontal so only half the teat is filled), obviously they will still have wind but should be a lot less and you never know, may help in bringing it up. Worth a try!

sorry I never mentioned but I’m formula feeding but would this still work?

I am formula feeding and using MAM bottles as I found with my first that Tommee Tippee gave her wind so thought I’d go with what worked for me the first time but it’s backfired as she’s got worse wind😂 I’ll try on next feed only have the teat half filled.

Yeah give slow feeding a try with half teat. My boy is greedy so we also take regular breaks throughout the feed, taking the bottle away for a minute to allow him to catch his breath and winding several times throughout the feed rather than just at the end x

I was using cow and gate but switched to Aptamil she seemed to settle but the last few days she’s just been screaming from the minute she opens her eyes until she’s either fed or I just persevere could be anything up to an hour. I wasn’t sure if I could give gripe water and infacol like mixing xx
