Sweep
I had a sweep last night and was already 1cm dilated however since around 8 tonight I’ve had none stop lower back pain which has seemed to get worse and tightenings across the top of my bump. It’s my first pregnancy so unsure if this is start of labour or not?

Sounds like it could be, start timing them and if you have any concerns contact your local triage
Call your midwife! I’m pretty sure she’ll sit on the phone with you and help you time them from start to finish, and will also let you know whether or not you need to make your way to the hospital!
If it’s constant, I went into pregnancy assessment unit yesterday with the same things, constant back pain and tightening around the top of my bump and they checked me out and said everything was fine and nothing to worry about, can just happen at this point in pregnancy so they didn’t think it was labour. If it comes and goes though definitely time it and if you’re ever worried it’s always better to call your midwife or go to the PAU to be 100% sure ❤️
I have to go to get regular monitors daily until I get induced Sunday but I explained this morning all the symptoms and they said to keep an eye on them but sounds like really good signs things are moving along🥹x
