Contraception advice please

Does anyone have any advice or recommendations for which contraception is best 16 weeks postpartum?

I have only ever used the pill but a little reluctant to go back on it while breastfeeding, so was considering getting the copper coil fitted but I’m not sure what’s best.

Thanks x

I would go for the depo injection it lasts 3 months, the coils can be dangerous so I wouldn’t touch it but that’s my opinion xx

And it’s safe when breastfeeding xx

I was on pill but I’ve now got the implant which lasts 3 years

Copper coil was the best for me as I can’t have hormone ones. Pills made me put weight on, spots, depressed etc xx

Contraceptive patch

You can actually use desogestrel which is only progesterone. It won’t affect breastfeeding in terms of the pill.
But if you’re like me, don’t like taking tablets, get the implant, forget about it for 3 years. When u want it out, you have it out, it stops working, u can start trying again if u wanted to xx

Thank you all! I am trying to steer clear of hormones for my own benefit too.

Also, preferably want something that won’t affect my fertility of make me wait an age for it to be out of my system x

Hello 🫶

Looking to make new friends, no matter where you are! Being at home all the time with just a tiny person for company can be lonely so I’m reaching out to see if anyone is out there in the same position - I am also a really good listener so if you need to rant then I’m here! 👋🏼🤍

Deleting app

I’m so ready to delete this app. I don’t think people actually want to gain friendships. I’ve only had little conversations and that’s it. What a bummer 😒

Need car advice 😬

So my old car went out completely and the repairs are NOT worth spending on that old car. 😞 Now I’m in need of one however, I’m also trying to get an apartment too but I know I will probably need a car before I can get my apartment. Should I get a reliable used newer car (car note) or should I get a cash car?

Is it appropriate to give a card for Eid?

My neighbour has been fasting for Ramadan and I wondered if it would be appropriate to give a card for Eid. He gave us a Christmas card and I want to return the favour.

App not what I thought it'd be

I'm probably just being too picky, but I heard great things about this app and so far it's not really what I thought it would be. Also I have no idea how to turn off the premium/plus feature😂 I thought I would be able to find a lot of people in similar situations (first pregnancy, first baby, same stages, etc) but so far that's not what I'm finding. A good friend of mine found some really good people and friends all in the same stages but I'm not quite finding the same thing. I know there's nothing wrong with finding people who are on their 2nd or 3rd babies but idk. It's a bit disappointing I guess and I just needed to express that?
