Tax free childcare

I use it you sign up and send money to the account monthly and then the government top it up then you pay your nursery or childminder through that. I've used it for months makes a big difference to fees.

do you need to apply for few months before you are signing the little one for nursery ? Also does it only apply to qualified nursery which accept tax free childcare ?

he goes 2 days a week because I work shifts. Nursery is 570 per month we put 430 in as we end up with a little bit left over every month

@Nikolet it was instant when I did it you just have to make sure it's set up before nursery want your first payment so you can get the top up. I've done it for 2 different nurseries as we moved the end of last year and had no issues

we claim it for my daughter. She goes to nursery 4 days a week and we’ve found it so helpful. Once you’re all set up it’s super easy to use and definitely worth the money it’s saves!

Anything that helps bring the nursery bill down is definitely beneficial if you’re eligible. My nursery bill goes from £851 to around £680 each month because of it.
