2.5 year old won’t nap!

My son is very active and gets so tired and really needs a nap. He loves milk before sleep, so he’ll have some milk and will fall asleep drinking it as he’s so tired, when I go to pick him up he’s fine but as soon as I stand up to take him to bed he starts crying and screaming!!! What’s going on 😫 I need him to nap for my sanity and also for his health.
Do I just leave him where he is instead moving him or is it a phase?

I’d just leave him where he is and let him nap there if it’s causing him to wake and be grumpy. X

I’m just letting mine sleep on the sofa! It’s the only way otherwise he’ll just fight it

This last few months my little girl now naps most days on the couch which a couple of months ago I wouldn’t have thought! She can have up to an hour max on there but will wake her at 2:30 max xx

My 2.5yo largely dropping his nap now and actually now I’ve gotten used to not getting that break in the day I really like it - no planning round the nap and he goes to bed about an hour earlier and quicker! He’ll still nap days he’s really tired but quite randomly- often on a car journey or in buggy mid morning. Sometimes when really tired he’ll have a little nap on the sofa. We just let him sleep wherever now as it’s only a short nap - usually 30 mins occasionally an hour max
