Sacrum and SI Pain, feels like Sciatica

I recently took a trip to the Emergency Room because I was in excruciating pain and was unable to walk or put any weight on my left leg. I was having an electric pain shooting through my body that almost brought me to my knees.
They ended up doing an MRI that showed a marrow edema in my left sacrum near the SI joint. I was given some physical therapy exercises, but I have had no improvement in the last 3 weeks. It has been miserable to do almost anything. I’ve been limited to the use of a wheelchair to even get around my house.
This is my second pregnancy, 25 weeks along. And I had nothing like this with my first.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? If so we’re you able to find any relief?

I had sciatica too. Was extreme and I had to take 1.5 weeks off from work before I could even walk around the house, let alone get to office. Was right around 26 weeks.
A few things helped me
1. PT (Looks like you are already doing that.)
2. After any PT or exercise, I would use a massage roller to ensure there's no tightness in the muscles. This is what I used

3. Applied ice pack initially to bring down swelling after exercises.

4. Before I slept I lay on a heat pack for 5-8 mins , targeting where ever I was sore.
5. Also realized most of my pain is on my left because I had a tendency to sleep on my left most of the time. So I switch everyday. One day i lay on my left, the next on right and so on

Yours def sounds way worse than mine, but hang in there, as your muscles strengthen with the help of PT, it gets better .

I feel for you! I had horrible sciatica pain. This little cuff was a miracle worker that my mom found in the last few weeks of pregnancy. Hang in there. Immediately after delivery this pain went away. I hope you get some relief soon and have a smooth delivery 🤍 BeActive Plus Instant Relief Acupressure Calf Brace for Sciatic Nerve Pain, Black https://www.walmart.com/ip/949373881

like how immediately some people just don’t understand that this is not a pulled muscle this is hitting nerves . With a pull muscle I can operate. I had this feeling since Thursday and I was able to get around and walk but than it got worse throughout the night

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Homebirth?

I am thinking I want a homebirth (second baby) for a few different reasons but my husband is very against it, he is worried about things going wrong and we are a 30 minute drive from the hospital. Has anyone been in a similar position and what did you end up doing? Any advice? 🙏
