I’m 32 weeks and have the most killer headache, idk what to do at this point, I drink plenty of water I’ve tried to sleep it off multiple times, I used a headache helmet ice pack but it only helps for a couple minutes. I’ve had this migraine for almost three days straight now and I’m feeling super defeated 😭🫠

Go in and get checked! I have gestational hypertension and they have me watching carefully for signs of preeclampsia. A migraine that doesn’t go away with rest and Tylenol is the primary symptom of PreE and they tell me to go straight to the hospital if that happens.

I have chronic migraines that are genetic so I totally feel you here! Ask your provider about a medicine called Fioricet. It is safe for pregnancy, my OB gave it to me to replace my other migraine prescription called Sumatriptan. Fioricet has acetaminophen, butalbital, and caffeine in it. It’s an older migraine medicine but it helps my migraines sometimes. Mine can get really bad to the point where no medicine at all will help them go away. If you can’t get access to Fioricet, you can try just drinking a little bit of caffeine like that found in a soda or tea and taking some acetaminophen. I hope you feel better soon, I know how much migraines suck 😭🤍

Have you taken any tylonal? If it doesnt go away with tylonal you. Eed to go to l&d triage immediately. Persistent headache can be a symptom of preeclampsia and be very dangerous for you and baby.

I agree, if it doesn't go away you need to get checked asap. It can be very serious!
