How to help congested baby sleep?

Hi, im just coming on here to ask if it would be safe to put a pillow or blanket underneath my baby’s mattress in her cot to put it at a slight incline to help her breathe better?

I’m not sure about the incline as my husband did this and it made me too nervous. One thing that did help though was a humidifier

I know they don’t advise it but our next to me crib inclines slightly so we have done it to help our LO

When my boy was 5 weeks he was hospitalised with bronchiolitis and when we came home we were told to incline the mattress slightly. We used a folded bath mat which worked great 😊

We’ve inclined our next to me slightly x

They don't recommend putting anything under the mattress as it's not SIDs safe & can change position of their head/neck etc but you can tilt the cot itself, so then babe is on an incline but the mattress is still completely flat (if that makes sense?! Haha) our bedside cot comes with an incline wedge you can put under the feet on one end but you could even do the same with a book or anything sturdy x

At 3 months you can get baby vapo rub type thing which might help. Calpol also do a plug in to help congestion after 3 months. There’s also saline solution (spray or drops for their nose) you can use from birth x

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Circumcision, please help

I know it can be a really sensitive topic, but I feel really underinformed about whether I should choose to circumcise or not if we end up having a boy.
For context: we are very non-religious, but I worry about the stigma of being non-circumcised when he would start to get interested in dating, navigating cleaning it and the risk of infection especially as he gets older and navigating potty training at daycare and stuff. I also worry about the increased risk of penile cancer. But then I also hate the thought of making my baby go through a major surgery unnecessarily and would prefer for them to make the choice when they are older if they choose to get circumcised.

How did you make your choice? Does anyone regret their choice?

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x
