Childcare cost rant!

I honestly can’t stand the cost of childcare right now! It’s insane! I run a restaurant and the hourly rate the babysitters are asking for is more than I pay my highest hourly staff. I don’t know how people are affording it. Am I stuck in a data minefield that thinks I’m rich? I know I look at $1 million dollar houses on Zillow, but that’s my if I was rich fantasy searches! I’m lucky I only need two days covered but the value they’re providing is not there! To top it off they’re getting paid without taxes 🤯. Is anyone even hiring them or do they keep posting hoping to get paid top dollar to sit on a couch! I’m not asking for them to do much, I just want my kids to be fed and be happy while I’m at work.
