Brushing teeth

I play videos on YouTube about brushing your teeth. That motivates my daughter. She’s a huge fan of Cocomelon. Their teeth brushing song motivates her. We also got her a toothbrush and toothpaste from the same character and she loves using it.

Ugh. My first was like that.
Do you have someone who could help you? We'd put our daughter in her high chair and my husband would have to hold her head and arms while I brushed and then he'd let her go and let her have a turn.
She's 3½ now and actually LOVES brushing and flossing her teeth, so there's definitely still hope for your son. Haha
Other than that, I think we would try to keep her calm with distractions. Either singing to her, making silly faces, or just letting her watch a short video on my phone. It's exhausting, but they come around eventually.

yeah some times we’ll hold him down and hold his arms then I think God how traumatic. And I don’t want to make it a bad association for him you know? 😓but I’ve started last night trying to lay his head down in my lap and I feel he did a tiny bit better with that. 🤞🏾

yeah maybe more singing will help. Lol. He loves his toothbrush but he just likes to hold it in his mouth than actually moving it around. 🙃

We read a book about dinasours with shiny teeth it helps from time to time (show mommy your Dino teeth, we need to make them sparkle)

My son thinks it's funny when I say I'm gunna tickle tickle his teeth he just laughs and I do it super fast it and get it done I lay him on my bed after his bath I give him tons of kisses while telling him I'm gunna tickle tickle he's teeth and I just get crazy stupid with it He laughs so hard
